The vineyard cottage was built in 1848. In the basement there is a wine cellar with different sorts of wine, a wine shop in the colors of Slovenian flag and a small room for gathering up to 15 people. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, a dishwasher and a fridge. The living area has a bedroom with two beds, a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, and a washing machine. Living room includes a kitchen with a stove with oven and 4 glass-ceramic plates, a dishwasher and refrigerator; a dining room and sofa, that can be arranged into a bed for two people. The interior of the living area is new and made of wood, polished with beeswax. The cottage has an infra-red sauna.
The owner welcomes the guests and invites them to the cellars for wine tasting. He will also offer some snacks of homemade products. Guest can keep the key to the cellar and taste the wine whenever they want, by paying a small supplement. Seasonal veggies are also available from the cottage garden.
You can visit nearby Matjaž homestead and discover the story of the local wine “cviček”.
As an optional, the owner can arrange you: sound baths and therapies (gong bath, magic crystal bowls bath, etc), apitherapy, Asian massage, acupressure massage, rent a bike and different tours including the tour with old timer cars.
The cottage is suitable also for smaller groups, since there are other two cottages in the vicinity (Škatlar 1 and Škatlar 2).
