Are you ready to travel back in time and experience the life of our grandparents? Then “Matjaž homestead” is the right place for you.
The cottage dates in 1865. It is made of wood, partly stone and covered with straw roof. The interior is completely preserved. Step in the hall and you will see the old wooden chest and doors from the wood fire oven. On the right side enter to the living room with a wood fire oven, a table, a domestic altar, and a special bed made of husking corn. On the left side of the house there is a kitchen, with two brick stone stoves, two electric cooking plates, a regal, a refrigerator, and a smaller table. Further on there is a bedroom with two beds and a sauna, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The cottage has also a small garden with table and a bench seat. Possibility of grill usage.
The owner welcomes the guests and invites them to the cellars for wine tasting followed by multi-vision presentation “The story of wine cviček” and tasting of all ingredients of this special wine.
With supplement guest and keep the key to the cellars. On the welcome guest will also try homemade bread and cold cut plates.
Guest can keep the key to the cellar and taste the wine whenever they want, by paying a small supplement. Seasonal veggies are also available from the cottage garden.
As an optional, the owner can arrange you: sound baths and therapies (gong bath, magic crystal bowls bath, etc), apitherapy, Asian massage, acupressure massage, rent a bike and different tours including the tour with old timer cars.
