Vineyard cottage Majolka (2+2)

Vineyard cottage Majolka is situated among the vineyard hills on the outskirts of the village Hrušica, through which the hiking Trdina trail to Gorjanci and the pilgrimage St. Jacob’s trail pass.

In the renovated upper part of the cottage, there is a modernly furnished apartment. It consists of a living room with a kitchen, a separate bedroom with a high-quality bed and a bathroom with a shower cabin. The apartment has a terrace with a view of the vineyard and the wonderful Dolenjska hills. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace and observe countless stars at night.

The apartment is ideal for a stay of two people, with the option of an extendable sofa set for additional two beds in the living room. The convenient kitchen, equipped with a stove, a fridge and a water heater, offers everything you need to prepare simple daily meals. All rooms are heated with IR panels and an electric fireplace, there is also air conditioning. The apartment is equipped with a smart TV and WI-FI.

Upon arrival, the landowner and the housekeeper welcome you and invite you to the cellar for a tasting of the local wine cviček. By arrangement, it is also possible to taste local delicacies such as homemade bread, salami, cheese.

In the nearby area, guests have many opportunities for walks, such as the Mach’s trail and a hike to Gorjanci to the highest peak Trdinov vrh. Near are the Šmarješke Toplice thermal baths, the Otočec castle and a golf course. The Spar shop and restaurant Kaval are located in the village of Brusnice, three kilometres away, and in the nearby villages of Slatnik, Ratež and Gabrje there are inns with excellent local cuisine.
